St. Luke's in Dixon to bless pets Sunday

DIXON – St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 221 W. Third St., in Dixon will host a blessing of the animals at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in observance of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.

All leashed, well-behaved pets, along with their humans, are invited to gather on the sidewalk at the Peoria Avenue entrance to the church for the ceremony. If your pet can’t attend, photos can to blessed. Drive-through blessings also will be given.

Face coverings and social distancing are required.
