Sauk Valley reports 32 coronavirus cases Wednesday

The Sauk Valley reported 32 cases of coronavirus Wednesday with 10 in Whiteside, three in Lee, 12 in Ogle, and seven in Carroll counties.

Whiteside County had three cases younger than 20, two in their 40s, two in their 50s and three in their 60s as well as 21 recoveries for a total of 668 cases, 20 deaths and 518 recoveries.

Lee County had a case in his or her 50s and two in their 60s, with three new recoveries, totaling 305 cases, one death and 260 recoveries.

Ogle County reported a total of 607 cases, six deaths and 551 recoveries.

Carroll County's cases were a teenager, one person in his or her 20s, four in their 40s, and one in his or her 50s totaling 211 cases and four deaths.

Testing in the Sterling area totals 3,078 tests and 241 positive cases. Rock Falls has had 1,646 tests and 118 cases, and Dixon has had 4,660 tests and 225 cases.

Illinois announced 1,941 new cases and 35 additional deaths totaling 266,151 cases with 8,367 deaths.
