Ogle County has sixth COVID-related death

The Ogle County Health Department announced its sixth COVID-related death on Tuesday, a woman in her 70s.

Ogle County also announced three new cases Tuesday.

The Whiteside County Health Department announced eight new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, as well as 11 recoveries. The new cases include two people in their 20s, two in their 50s, and people in their 30s, 40s, 60s and 80s.

Lee County and Carroll County did not announce updated statistics on Tuesday.

Whiteside County has had 658 cases and 20 COVID-related deaths. Lee County has had 299 cases, 253 recoveries and one death. Ogle County has had 595 cases, 535 recoveries and six deaths. Carroll County has had 204 cases, 183 recoveries and four deaths.

Sterling has had 3,055 tests and 238 cases. Rock Falls has had 1,631 tests and 113 cases. Dixon has had 4,643 tests and 224 cases. Rochelle has had 3,052 tests and 266 cases.

Illinois announced 1,466 new cases and 20 deaths on Tuesday. The state has had 264, 210 cases and 8,332 deaths.
