Musicians wanted for 'Jammin' on the Rock' in Rock Falls

Rock Falls Tourism will present Jammin’ on the Rock, a free evening of local musicians performing from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at RB&W Park, 201 E. Second St., Rock Falls. Concessions will be available. Call the Rock Falls Tourism office at 815-622-1106 for more information.

ROCK FALLS – Rock Falls Tourism's "Jammin' on the Rock" featuring a free evening of local music will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m Sept. 17 at RB&W Park, 201 E. Second St.

Food will be available, including Brito's Grill Food Truck.

Social distancing will be followed at the park, and masks must be worn if social distancing can't be maintained.

Individuals or bands, amateur or professional, interested in playing can register by calling Rock Falls Tourism at 815-622-1106 or email travel@visitrockfalls.com by Monday.

Performers should have three to four family friendly songs ready to play. The music can be acoustic, singer-songwriter, rock, bluegrass, country, or gospel. Kyle Morgan will be in charge of sound.

The event will be canceled in case of inclement weather.
