Open Art Exhibition on display at Commerce Towers in Dixon

DIXON – The Next Picture Show's Open Art Exhibition is on display from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until Sept. 30 at Commerce Towers, 213 E. First St.

The exhibit features 40 pieces of original art by local and regional artists including works in acrylic, alcohol ink, charcoal, graphite, mixed media, oil, pen and ink, photography, and watercolor.

Artists include Sheila Ames, David Bingaman, Graydon Cafarella, William Doering, Laurie Friemuth, Beverly Garcia, Stephen Hart, Jan Harvey, Barbara Lundeen, Teresa Moen, Betty Predmore, Karen Nelson, Jim Regnier and Karen Sellers.

The artwork is part of a series of art exhibits at KSB Hospital designed to advance the use of art as part of the healing process.
