Exhibits, shows, calls for artists from The Next Picture Show in Dixon

DIXON – The Next Picture Show in Dixon still is looking for artists for its upcoming Nuts About Art show and sale, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 12 at John Dixon, Park, 515 N. Galena Ave. The deadline to enter has been pushed to Aug. 1.

The deadline to enter the Farms & Barn's Art Exhibition is Aug.15. It runs from Sept. 3 to Oct. 17 at The Next Picture Show, 113 W. First St.

In the meantime, the Absolutely Abstract art exhibit opens Saturday and runs through Aug. 29 at the gallery. It also can be viewed on the gallery's Facebook page.
