Things must change for those refusing to return to jobs

To the Editor:

When people are called back to their jobs and don’t want to go back because they are earning $600 a week staying home, I feel we have a problem.

Some people in Congress want to extend the $600 a week. These people are hurting our country's economy as some people do not want to work when they can stay home earning $600 a week.

The debts of our state and federal government are increasing by the governments paying out more and taking in less. Government cannot keep taking money away from Social Security, especially when so many working people have paid into this fund for many years to get the benefits of retirement.

Things need to change to not pay the $600 a week for those people refusing to go back to their jobs.
