STERLING – The Sterling Public Library will kick off its summer reading program online.
Registration for the READsquared program will open Monday and the program will run June 8-July 19.
Programs are available for preschool, kindergarten through fifth grade, and teens and adults. The program aims to develop lifelong reading habits.
In addition, children's librarian Mary Bradshaw, who has been posting online storytime videos since the pandemic began, will be offering S.T.E.M. programs to school-aged children with activity packets that families can pick up from the library. Those programs will be posted online each Tuesday afternoon starting June 9.
Bradshaw also will do an activity time video for preschoolers on Mondays starting June 8.
