St. Anne students learn through fun projects
Learning about science proved tasty Tuesday afternoon for St. Anne Catholic School students in Dixon as part of Catholic Schools Week. Students were conducting a variety of Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics projects, including one where students mixed up batches of hot chocolate and then got to sample the delicious drink. Another experiment was all about staying steady on a snowy hill. The challenge was to build a sled that can stay upright, slide across several different surfaces and keep the rider safely inside the vessel. Catholic schools in the area hold a variety of activities throughout the week to celebrate their faith.
