Boutique on the move
DIXON – J Boutique will move soon, but not too far away.
The women's clothing and accessory store will relocate about 100 feet, to the northeast corner of Hennepin Avenue and First Street from 115 S. Hennepin.
An expanded inventory led to the need for a larger location, owner Jenny Koch said.
Koch, former United Way of Lee County executive director, opened the store 2 years ago and was the first business in the merged Dixon Chamber of Commerce and Main Street's business incubator.
The goal is to open the new location during the last week of February, and have more shoe selections and gift items.
The hours will remain the same: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. They'll soon open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday in March.

Jones will continue to work under the new ownership.
