An overcast day did not dampen the spirits of local fishermen trying their hand at catching walleye. Dave Miller (left) and Edward Orlando were out Monday afternoon at the lower dam in Rock Falls. They mentioned how, during just a few days, that several dozen of the coveted fish were pulled from the Rock River along the dam. The weather was ideal for the men, with an overcast day and temperatures in the low 40s. Temperatures are expected to drop into the 30s, then the 20s, today and Wednesday, with a mix of sun and clouds, before rising to the 40s on Thursday with rain showers. A chance of snow is expected with 30s on Friday, then 20s and a cloud-sun mix on Saturday.
