STERLING – How thankful are you to live in Sterling and the Sauk Valley? Sterling Main Street wants to know.
The nonprofit economic development agency has started a social media campaign to solicit opinions from community members about the area’s positive attributes.
Executive Director Janna Groharing came up with the idea.
“We want to tell our story better and get some positive messages out there on social media,” Groharing said. “We want to put that message out there, despite naysayers and negativity that a lot of people want to focus on.
“There is a lot of good stuff going on around here, and the positive needs to start overshadowing a lot of the negative.”
