In today’s world with iPhones and laptops, we tend to lose contact with our community news and events which are important for everyday life.
Our newspapers are what keeps us informed – particularly our news reporters. They are the ones going out gathering information, attending meetings, interviewing people, photographing events, etc.
Coming from a news-reporting family, I realize the commitment and self-sacrifice needed to do this job.
Vinde Wells has done an outstanding job throughout the years. Reporting is a lifestyle.
Recently, I was informed she was retiring. Vinde needs to know how much we appreciate the job she has done.
Enjoy your retirement.
