New sculptures on display

ROCK FALLS – The second annual Art in the Park Sculpture Walk will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday in RB&W District Park, along the riverfront at 301 E. Second St. There will be a fine art exhibit, food, beer, wine and interactive displays, and the 10 new sculptures replacing last week's works at the year-round self-guided art walk will be revealed. Art in Grand Detour

GRAND DETOUR – The annual  Grand Detour Arts Festival runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the John Deere Historic Site, 8334 S. Clinton St. There also will be a student art exhibit, live music and food, and the site, its blacksmith shop and and its gift shop also will be open. Admission is $3. The unique and antique

SUBLETTE – The annual Sublette Country Car Show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 52; all antique and unique cars, trucks, farm equipment and other vehicles are welcome. Fall comes to P-town

PROPHETSTOWN – The Prophetstown Area Historical Society's Fall Festival runs from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Asa Crook House, 651 E. Third St. There will be family activities, games, prizes, Native American flute music, ice ream, cookies, iced tea and lemonade, and a visit by Asa Cook himself. Sones de Mexico

DIXON – OK, technically not the weekend, but the Sones de Mexico Ensemble performs at 12:20 p.m. Monday in the Dillon Mall at Sauk Valley Community College, 172 state Route 2. It's a free concert by the two-time Grammy nominated folk music group, named Best Latin Entertainer in the Chicago Music Awards from 2015 to 2018. A visit with Dolley
