MOUNT MORRIS – The Mount Morris Fire Protection District needs volunteers.
“We have many positions and most likely have something for you,” Fire Chief Rob Hough said.
“We need firefighters, EMTs and paramedics for sure, but there is more to it than that. We are even looking for people to drive the ambulances and people to help with different nonfirefighting tasks at fire and accident scenes.”
Those interested are encouraged to attend an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. July 17 at the firehouse, 15 E. Center St.
“This will give you a chance to see what we are all about and what you could do to be part of the team,” Hough said.
No experience is necessary. Training is free.
Call Capt. Mark Lewis, 815-734-4322, or find the department on Facebook for more information.
