PLAINFIELD – Lauren Anne Urrutia (née Musial), 58, of Plainfield, formerly of Chicago and Dixon, passed away suddenly Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016.
She was born Dec. 3, 1957, in Chicago, to her loving parents, Raymond and Anne Musial.
She was the cherished wife of Anton Frank Urrutia, now deceased; beloved mother of Peter Raymond (Colleen) Calderon, Anne Marilyn (Roberto) Soto, Brenda Maria (Jesus) Rivera, Daniel Frank Urrutia, and Jennifer Lauren Urrutia; loving grandmother of Peter, Kylie, and Emily Calderon, Roberto, Antonio, Mateo, and Analena Soto, Jesus, Nikolas, and Karina Rivera, and Giovanni Dart; fond sister of Arthur J. (Cheryl) Hamill; and dear friend of Charles Ripke.
She also was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a prayer service at 8, at Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 15219 S. Joliet Road, Plainfield. Visitation also will be from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon, at St. Patrick Church, 612 Highland Ave., Dixon. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon.
