If you or a family member are injured or not feeling well, there's a convenient choice for health care right in Morrison. The Morrison Community Hospital Family Care Clinic is open seven days a week, 361 days a year, from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, with at least one physician always on staff. Children's vaccinations are available daily until 5:00 pm. Walk-in patients are more than welcome, but appointments are appreciated and ensure front-line attention.
"Our Family Practice doctors conduct thorough examinations, and provide a care plan tailored to the patient to help get them back on the path to great health," said Mick Welding, Marketing Director for Morrison Community Hospital. "To assist with that care plan, they may order lab tests or x-rays to accurately determine the cause of a patient's pain or illness. The doctors can provide immunizations and medications, and they can refer the patient to a specialist in our hospital for more advanced care if necessary."
The MCH Family Care Clinic was completely renovated in 2016, and was relocated to the main level of the hospital. Laboratory and Radiology departments are on the same level, to give patients easier access to those services. In the past, many people believed the clinic was for emergency care only, but that's not the case. The full-service Family Care Clinic provides a wealth of services for anyone looking for superior health care.
"The Family Care Clinic also provides preventative services, including exams and work, school, and sports physicals," added Welding. "We currently serve over 18,000 patients each year, with many coming from outside the Morrison community."
The MCH Family Care Clinic offers affordable family health care, and accepts most insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, and United Healthcare. Patients receive one-on-one, personal care from compassionate and understanding medical staff, unmatched by any other area facility. For more information, please contact:
