GRAND DETOUR – A Sterling man was hospitalized Friday with head injuries that he had suffered Thursday when his car rolled over north of Grand Detour, officials said.

The hospital confirmed Friday that Jason A. Reglin, 36, was still there, but didn’t give information on his condition.

Shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday, Reglin was headed south on state Route 2, about 1.5 miles north of Grand Detour, when his car left the road, according to a news release from the Ogle County Sheriff’s Department.

The car struck a culvert and rolled over, the release said. Reglin was removed from his car and taken by ambulance to KSB Hospital in Dixon.

The accident remains under investigation.
