Parolee faces new cocaine, heroin charges

DIXON – A parolee who police say sold cocaine and heroin to an informant several times over the last 6 months was arrested about 10:45 a.m. Wednesday and jailed on $100,000 bond.
John S. Allen, 42, is charged with two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of public housing and delivery of a controlled substance.
Allen, paroled in February after serving less than a year of a 2-year sentence for attempted burglary, sold less than a gram of heroin and cocaine to the informant on “more than one occasion,” police said.
He also has felony convictions for delivery of marijuana and aggravated battery.
