Labor Day bash features car show, tractor pulls, flea market
PAW PAW – The annual Paw Paw Labor Day Weekend Celebration, courtesy of the Lions Club, offers 3 days of old-fashioned family fun in the Village Park and on school grounds.
The 18th annual car show features '50s and '60s music by 3-D Sound Company, 50/50 drawings at noon and 2:30 p.m., and a 2 p.m. flag-raising ceremony. Call Jerry Nicholson, 815-627-8641, or 3-D, 815-251-4211 for more information.

1 p.m.: Paw Paw Fire Department water fights

Noon: Truck and tractor pull; admission $5 for 12 and older

Pony rides and kid’s games all day.
8 a.m.-noon: Car show registration, $10; dash plaques to the first 150
9 a.m.: Flea market and craft show
10 a.m.: Parade
11:30 a.m: Paw Paw Lions chicken barbecue
Noon-1 p.m.: Car show judging
1 p.m.: Truck and tractor pull; admission $5 for 12 and older
1 p.m.: Kid’s pedal tractor pull, open to all
5 p.m.: Paw Paw Lions pork chop barbecue
6 p.m.: Lions raffle drawing
