DIXON – An autopsy has been conducted and further test results are needed before determining the cause of a Dixon Correctional Center inmate's death, the Lee County coroner said Tuesday.

The body of 54-year-old Chikita Clark was found in his cell early Sunday; foul play is not suspected, Stacey Solano, an Illinois Department of Corrections spokeswoman, said Tuesday.

She declined to say how Clark died or if his death was a suicide, directing questions to Lee County Coroner Jesse Partington, who said he is waiting for toxicology results.

Clark was serving a 4-year sentence for theft in Cook County.
