Ferris, Spider-Man & Sandler part of Petunia Festival kickoff
DIXON – The Midway Drive-In will show the ’80s classic “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” Monday at its annual Petunia Festival night.
Gates open at 7, the movie begins at dusk. Special admission prices are $3 for adults and $1 for ages 3 to 11.
At midnight, “The Amazing Spider-Man” will premier. Admission will be $7.50 for adults and $4 for ages 3-11. It’s rated PG-13.
On Tuesday, there will be a triple feature of “The Amazing Spider-Man,” “Men in Black 3,” also PG-13, and the R-rated “That’s My Boy.” Gates open at 7, the first movie begins at dusk. Admission to all three is $7.50 for adults and $4 for ages 3 to 11.
The historic Midway Drive-In and Diner is on Palmyra Road between Dixon and Sterling. No outside food is permitted; the Midway Diner will be open.
