Workers were taking advantage of more seasonable weather Monday to complete outdoor projects. The Dixon Street Department patched up holes in the road along state Route 2 in Dixon. Many towns throughout the Sauk Valley took advantage of the warm weather to do clean up and repair after the cold winter season. Crews were also out finishing the demolision of the Nicor Gas building at 421 W. First St. in Dixon The riverfront property is part of the Viaduct Point project which is an initiative to secure 10 acres of land to spur riverfront development.
