We’ve been wanting winter to give us a break, and it has –ábroken trees, broken water lines, broken power lines broken records, and this week was just more of the same. Another round of rain, sleet and snow moved in to the area Monday night and continued through Tuesday, piling on and piling up. Things should clear up and cool down Wednesday, with temperatures dropping to the upper 20s before warming up Thursday, with highs just shy of 40 and brief showers. Then another round of cold weather returns Friday, with a high of 19 forecast. On Monday, another blustery blast is in the forecast, with snow and sleet returning.
