What do you call it when four people cross paths and discover they share a lifelong love of music? Some would say that’s serendipity – and they’d be right. Ask the four fine-tuned fellas who find that playing together is music to their eight ears and they’ll tell you it’s more like Serendip, as in Sons of. The quartet that goes by the name Sons of Serendip – and was one of the finalists on season 9 of “Americas Got Talent” – brought its blend of classical and popular music to the James A. Wiltz Auditorium at Dixon High School on Thursday night for a show presented by the Sauk Valley Community Concert Association. Go to sonsofserendip.com for more on the group. The quartet’s performance was the first concert in the Sauk Valley Community Concert Association’s 2018-19 season. Go to svcca.org for more information about the concert association.
