A daily dose of apples may keep the doctor away, but a mile and-a-half maze of them attracts visitors from near and far at the Royal Oak Farm Apple Orchard.
And talk about the apple of your eye – the family farm situated on 50-plus acres offers apples as far as the eye can see, with more than 17,000 trees growing nearly 3 dozen varieties that customers can buy at the orchard store, along with a host of other apple products, or they can pick their own.
But this isn’t your average apple orchard. It also boasts the Amaze ’N Apples maze, a 1 1/2-mile apple tree maze on 5 acres that, from above, looks like an apple. The maze is made up of 2,500 trees with featuring nine different varieties.
