It’s smack-dab in the center of the corridor, which will extend through much of the city east and west along U.S. Route 30, and on the south side of town along state Route 78, connecting the downtown with the Morrison Institute of Technology.
As part of the project, MIT is building an 8,000-square-foot multipurpose Innovation Center that will, among other things, provide space and equipment for artists to create and sell their works.
It’s expected to open in the spring.
