Murder defendant Byron Adams told a Lee County Judge that he feels like he's been "pushed into a corner" to get rid of his attorney and represent himself at his upcoming trial. However, when pressed by prosecutors and the judge on whether he wanted to represent himself, he withdrew his request and instead opted to stick with attorney David Mandrgoc.

The latest move comes less than a week before his trial is set to begin.
