Crowds Gather to Welcome Wounded Dixon Marine
It was nothing but blue skies and sunshine by the time a welcome-home parade for 22-year-old Marine Lance Cpl. Adam Devine stepped off in Dixon.
In his dress uniform and white cap, Adam sat tall on the back of a red Mustang. The crowd waved American flags large and small as the parade wound through town.
The parade was followed by a daylong benefit at the Dixon VFW to raise money to help defray Adam’s medical expenses.
