Navy Ensign Bradley D. Holm recently reported for duty with Training Squadron 22, Naval Air Station in Kingsville, Texas. 

Holm is the son of Patricia J. and Harlan L. Holm of Oregon. He is a 2007 graduate of Oregon High School, and joined the Navy in December 2011.

Guardsman has finished training

Army National Guard Pfc. Stephen A. Avila has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

During the 9 weeks of training, the soldier received instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history and core values. Training included development of basic combat skills.

Avila is the son of Amanda and Jese Avila of Rochelle. He is a 2012 graduate of Rochelle Township High School.
