Michigan, Minnesota both fall

JaMychal Green scored 20 points in Orlando, including a go-ahead dunk with five seconds to play, and Alabama beat No. 15 Michigan 68-66 at the Old Spice Classic.

Charvez Davis added 12 points for Alabama (4-2).

Manny Harris had 26 points and 10 rebounds for Michigan (3-2).

Texas A&M 66, No. 22 Minnesota 65: Derrick Roland scored 19 points to lead Texas A&M to a victory over Minnesota in the 76 Classic in Anaheim.

Nathan Walkup added 11 points for the Aggies (5-1).

Colton Iverson had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Golden Gophers (3-2).

No. 3 Texas 77, Rice 59: Dexter Pittman scored 21 points and No. 3 Texas (5-0) held off a Rice rally in Houston.

Suleiman Braimoh scored 12 points to lead the Owls (4-2).

No. 8 West Virginia 84, Portland 65: Da’Sean Butler tied his season high of 26 points to lead West Virginia in Anaheim to the 76 Classic championship with a victory over Portland.

Kevin Jones added a season-best 17 points for the Mountaineers (5-0).

No. 11 North Carolina 80, Nevada 73: Deon Thompson scored a career-high 23 points and North Carolina beat pesky Nevada in Chapel Hill to give coach Roy Williams his 600th career victory.

Ed Davis added 16 points, 15 rebounds for the Tar Heels (6-1).

Armon Johnson scored 20 to lead Nevada (2-3).

No. 14 Washington 63, Montana 59: Venoy Overton made two free throws with 14.5 seconds left to allow Washington (5-0) to escape with a victory in Seattle.

No. 19 Clemson 70, No. 12 Butler 69: Demontez Stitt made two free throws with 3.3 seconds remaining to give Clemson a victory over Butler in the 76 Classic in Anaheim.

Trevor Booker also blocked a shot and deflected an inbounds pass in the final second for the Tigers (6-1).

Gordon Hayward had season highs of 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Bulldogs (4-2).
