The filing deadline in the Feb. 2 primary was 5 p.m. Monday. Here are the Whiteside County candidates running to represent their parties, and precinct committeemen seeking election in the primary.

Clerk – Republican incumbent Dana Nelson.

Treasurer – Republican incumbent Darlene F. Hook.

Sheriff – Republican incumbent Kelly Wilhelmi and Democrat John F. Booker.

Regional Superintendent of Schools – Republican Robert Sondgeroth.

County Board District 1 – Republicans Ruth Stanley, incumbent, and Kurt E. Glazier. Democrats James C. Duffy, Sarah McNeill and Ronald Marlier, incumbents, and Robert E. Bradley.

County Board District 2 – Democratic incumbents Karen M. Nelson and William “Bill” Milby; and Democrats Michael S. Mohr and John Espinoza.

County Board District 3 – Republican incumbents William M. Abbott, Glenn A. Frank and Kyle D. Wagenecht; Democratic incumbent Sue Britt; and Republican Howard “Bud” Thompson.

Whiteside County precinct committeemen candidates:

Coloma 4 – Democratic incumbent John Booker.

Coloma 5 – Democratic incumbent Enrique Cavazos.

Coloma 6 – Democratic incumbent Katherine A. Nelson.

Coloma 9 – Democratic incumbent Fred Turk.

Coloma 10 – Democratic incumbent Glenn C. Truesdell.

Fulton Precinct 4 committeeman - Democrats Virginia Ray and Robert V. McKanna.

Jordan – Republican incumbent Kelly C. Wilhelmi.

Mount Pleasant 2 – Democrat James W. Mertes, incumbent.

Mount Pleasant 4 – Republican Ronald P. Kallemeyn.

Sterling 11 – Republican incumbent Ruth M. Stanley.
