WALNUT – John M. “Johnny B” McGonigle, 54, of 211 Walnut Grove, Walnut, died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Walnut Manor Nursing Home.

Mr. McGonigle was born May 22, 1955, in Princeton, the son of Wilson S. and Mary Ann (Thompson) McGonigle.

Survivors include three nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harry McGonigle; and a sister, Mary Jean Troxell.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Garland Funeral Home, Walnut, with the Rev. Paul Nolden, pastor of Walnut United Methodist Church, officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded after the service. Burial of cremains will be at a later date at Walnut Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Garland Funeral Home, Walnut.

A memorial has been established.
