Errors not fixed
in timely manner

I enjoy reading a “hard copy” of the news. It is not often that I have firsthand knowledge of news articles.

Living at Lost Lake and being on the board of directors, I have attended and participated in many meetings, some of which have been covered by the Telegraph. What I don’t understand is why it is so difficult to get a correction about an article printed even after the editor and the reporter have been made aware of errors in the article?

So far, I know of three people who have left messages with Sam Smith about errors in his article “Ogle subdivision on hook for new bridge” on Oct. 23, yet nothing has appeared in the paper in 5 days. Why?

Note to readers – A correction was printed in Thursday’s newspaper.
