Daniel J. Reyle, 22, of Dixon; 12:05 a.m. Oct. 24 in the 500 block of Chicago Avenue; Ogle County warrant – failure to appear.

Amboy Police

15-year-old girl of Amboy; 2:30 a.m. Saturday at Jones Avenue and Main Street; curfew, absent without parental consent, beyond parental control; released to parents.

Sterling Police

Matthew O. Mills, 42, of Sterling; 8:58 a.m. Monday at the intersection of East LeFevre Road and Fourth Avenue; failure to yield to a pedestrian after striking a 11-year-old girl who was crossing East LeFevre Road; the girl was taken to CGH Medical Center with minor injuries; aid provided by Sterling Fire.

French, 35, of Lyndon; 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15; possession of a stolen vehicle – two counts, possession of a stolen vehicle title, unlawful possession of a vehicle with a removed identification number – two counts, unlawful concealing of a material fact on an application for certificate of title; given notice to appear in court.

Lucas C. Grove, 20, of Sterling; 1:55 p.m. Oct. 20 at 309 E. Ninth St.; obstructing a peace officer; given notice to appear in court.

Terry L. Geesey, 30, no address listed; burglary, two counts; taken to Whiteside County Jail.

Tyler M. Conkey, 20, of Polo; 9:56 p.m. Saturday Ogle County warrant, criminal sexual abuse; taken to Ogle County Jail.

14-year-old boy of Polo; 12:15 a.m. Sunday; curfew violation; released to parent.

Jenah M. Burkitt, 22, of Rock Falls; 4:24 p.m. Sunday; speeding.

Jerreau N. Sanders, 24, of Freeport; 4:39 p.m. Sunday; driving with a suspended driver’s license; taken to Ogle County Jail.

Home invasion; 6:57 p.m. Sunday; police responded to a residence for an intruder. The homeowners heard someone enter the unlocked front door of the home and left after the homeowners made a noise. Nothing was taken from the home. Anyone with information is asked to call Polo Police at 815-946-3412.

Sterling Fire

Vehicle crash; 1:26 p.m. Saturday; at Galt Road and U.S. Route 30, Sterling; three-vehicles involved; injuries reported.

Fire call; 5:43 p.m. Saturday at 2100 Freeport Road; smoke in an apartment caused by a burning mattress and box springs; extinguished.
