Students raked leaves, pulled weeds and did other odd jobs for Dixon homeowners. A donation was given to the group after the work was completed. A big thank you goes out to several area businesses who donated supplies for the event. Biodegradable yard waste bags were donated by County Market and Wal-Mart. Student volunteers enjoyed pop and water donated by Affordable Waste Systems and sandwiches donated by Subway. Dianne Frye donated hot chocolate for the students. Thank you to everyone who participated. Note to readers – Stacey Dinges is the alumni and marketing facilitator for Dixon Public School District. Comments
