ROCK FALLS – Brenda Kay Moeller Bender, 56, of Rock Falls, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, with her loving husband, Gary, at her side in their home.

Brenda was born Feb. 25, 1953, in Dixon, the daughter of Robert and Effie E. (Wilson) Moeller.

She attended Nelson Grade School and Rock Falls High School. She worked at BorgWarner, Dixon, for 5 years and then at National Manufacturing Co., Sterling, for 27 years.

Surviving are her husband, Gary; their daughters, Angel (Greg) Stake of Mount Morris, Heidi (Mark Cater) Bender of Sterling, and Lisa (Jamie) Behrens, and Katie (Eric) Wolf, both of Rock Falls; her grandchildren, Brooke Bender and Ethan and Carson Behrens, all of Rock Falls, Grayson and Brady Stake of Mount Morris, and Jordan, Branden, and Peyton Cater of Sterling; her sisters and brothers, Mary (Gerald) Steagall of Rock Falls, Bob (Becky) Moeller and Joe Moeller, both of Dixon, Donna (Harry) Cover and Rick (Pauline) Moeller, both of Nelson, and Dave (Karen) Moeller of Fulton; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Larry Moeller; and one sister, Diane Moeller Bartels.

A private family gathering will take place at a later date. Arrangements were completed by McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory, Rock Falls.

Memorials and condolences may be sent to the family at 30689 E. Thome Road, Rock Falls.
