Jordan Edwards, 20, is a sales associate at Hibbett Sports in Northland Mall, Sterling.

She also is studying elementary education at Sauk Valley Community College. Jordan is the daughter of Kim Williamson of Rock Falls and Jim Edwards of Sterling. She has two sisters, Alexandra Edwards, 13, and Avery Edwards, 10, both of Sterling, and two brothers, McIntyre Edwards, 7, of Sterling, and Jack Williamson, 8, of Rock Falls.

On-the-job lesson: How to greet and talk to customers without being scared.

Alma mater: I graduated in 2008 from Rock Falls High School.

Philosophy: Be thankful for what you have.

Hearts: Reading, going for walks, writing about personal things, spending time with friends and watching “The Real World,” “The Sopranos,” “Law and Order SVU,” and “Jon and Kate Plus 8.”

Darts: Rude people and ungrateful people.

Haunts: Friends’ houses and at my grandma Bev Winn’s house.

Hero: My grandma. She’s very giving.

First job: Kelly’s restaurant in Sterling. I worked there busing tables when I was 15. I liked it. There were always a lot of people.

First car: A 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier when I was 16.

People say I look like: My mom.

Phobia: Death.

Guilty pleasure: Olive Garden’s fettuccini Alfredo.

I’d like to meet: My great-grandma, Zola Winn.
