Amp it up at Ampalooza - ROCK FALLS – Ampalooza begins at 11 a.m. Saturday at 103 W. First St., on the banks of the Rock River. This all-day music festival will feature 20 bands on two stages. Dash plaques go to first 150 entries, and there will be a trivia competition, a muffler rapping contest, a 50/50 drawing and music by 3-D Sound. Register from 8 a.m. to noon for $10. Music in Motion - STERLING – Runners and walkers can put their feet to good use Saturday at the ninth annual Music in Motion 5K at Westwood Sports and Expo Center. This weekend, it’s Oregreen - OREGON – The eighth annual Illinois Renewable Energy and Sustainable Lifestyle Fair runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Ogle County Fairgrounds. |
