Dixon band 
performs tonight

DIXON – Dixon Municipal Band will perform at 7:30 tonight at the Page Park band shell.

Guest conductor is Ruth Johnson, who has been the middle grades band director for Dixon Public Schools for 23 years.

Guest student conductor is Sara Bramm, a Rock Falls High School graduate who is attending Northern Illinois University.

The lineup tonight includes “Band of Gold Concert March” by George Kenny, “Dances with Wolves Suite” arranged by Jay Bocook and “The Picadore March” by John Philip Sousa.
