Milledgeville High School senior Alyssa Saxton, 17, is a sales associate at Pink Rulz and a sales clerk at GameStop, both in Sterling. She is the daughter of Cindy and David Becker of Milledgeville.

Philosophy: Everything happens for a reason.

Hearts: Shopping, listening to music, writing poetry and watching “Deadliest Catch” on the Discovery Channel.

Darts: Long car trips.

Haunts: Home, or Florida. We go to Florida once a year.

Heroes: My mother and my grandmother, Marjorie VanderMaas. They’re always there for me.

First job: GameStop in Sterling. I love it.

First car: A Chevrolet Cavalier.

Read this: “Night Over Water,” by Ken Follett. It was kind of romantic, but still had mystery to it.

People say I look like: My mom and grandmother.

Phobia: Roller coasters.

Guilty pleasures: Texting and popcorn.

I’d like to meet: Any of the Temptations.

Trading places: I’d like to be a guy, to see what it’s like and how they think.

Trading spaces: I’d like to visit Ireland. We have a family castle there.

Best thing about Milledgeville: You know everybody.
