Sterling Police

Damon L. Ellis, 17, of Sterling; 6:30 p.m. Tuesday; possession of cannabis – 30 to 500 grams, possession of cannabis with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school; taken to Whiteside County Jail.



Illinois State Police

Heidi M. Hart, 34, of Rock Falls; 4:05 p.m. Tuesday at U.S. Route 30 and Eighth Avenue, Rock Falls; no valid driver’s license, no seat belt, child restraint violation; given notice to appear in court.

David J. Tieman, 34, of Dixon; 6:22 p.m. Tuesday at West Third Street and Sheridan Avenue, Dixon; Lee County warrant; taken to Lee County Jail.



Dixon Rural Fire

Ambulance calls; Monday and Tuesday at 7902 Walnut Ave.; Tuesday at 1612 Sauk Road.

Medical assist; Monday at 124 Liberty Court.

Vehicle crash; Monday at state Route 26 and Timbercreek Road.
