Linda Spinelli

AMBOY  – Linda J. Spinelli, 62, of Amboy, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at KSB Hospital. She was  employed by Woodhaven Lakes, Sublette, as a dispatcher for 9 years.

Linda was born May 4, 1947, in Rockford, the daughter of Anthony and Donna (VanStone) Aden. She married Gennaro “Jim” Spinelli on Aug. 31, 1969, in Lombard.

Survivors include her husband of Amboy; children, Traci (Ben) Colby of Lake in the Hills, Valerie (Don) Arjes of Rochelle, James Spinelli, Toni (Shane) Ikens, and John (Lindsay) Spinelli, all of Amboy, Donna (Joseph) Cook of Sterling, and Kathy (Gene) Fordham of Dixon; her mother, Donna Reinhardt of Sublette; her father, Anthony (Lee) Aden of Rockford; one brother, Michael (Laurie) Reinhardt of Marina Del Rey, Calif.; three sisters, Lori (Dr. Thomas) Michalsen, Juli (Brian) Bracken, and Viki (Brett) Irwin, all of Rockford; and nine grandchildren, Parker Colby, Keri Spinelli, Linda Spinelli, Georgie Spinelli, Taylor Ikens, Savannah Ikens, Brennen Cook, Brenleigh Cook, and Krystal Fordham.

The funeral is at 11 a.m. Friday at Mihm-Jones Funeral Home, Amboy, with the Rev. Frank Brozenec officiating. Burial is at St. Michael Cemetery, Amboy. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established.
