ROCK FALLS – Crystal J. Graham, 77, of Rock Falls, died suddenly Friday, June 26, 2009, at Genesis East, Davenport, Iowa.

She was born July 17, 1931, in Morrison, the daughter of Willard and Mabel (Knox) Martin. She married Carl Allen in 1949. He died in 1966. She latter married James Graham Sr., in 1975. He died in 2006.

Crystal was employed as a sorter at the former RB & W, Rock Falls, for several years before retiring. She was a member of Rock Falls Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Rock Falls American Legion Auxiliary, and Sterling Family Moose. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos.

Surviving are her two sons, William Allen of Wheat Ridge, Colo., and Gary Allen of Rock Falls; two stepsons, Robert Graham and Ronald Graham; one brother, Eugene Martin of Batavia; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Steven Allen; one stepson, James “Punk” Graham Jr.; one brother, Francis Martin; and two sisters, Bev Stange and Judy Wise.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls, with the Rev. Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at Coloma Township Cemetery, Rock Falls. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials in her memory may be made to a hospice of the donor’s choice.
