Glenda Ebenezer

ROCK FALLS – Glenda J. Ebenezer, 69, of Rock Falls, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at CGH Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 28, 1939, in Princeton, the daughter of Glenn and Mabel (Wescott) Rogers. She married Paul R. Ebenezer on Dec. 7, 1962, in Rock Falls. He died Jan. 1, 2007. Glenda was employed as a receptionist for many years, first with Dr. Tom and Dr. John McDonnell, and later for Dr. Susan Provow.

Surviving are her daughter, Paula (Martin) Passini of Rock Falls; her son, Troy (Jama) Ebenezer of Rock Falls; one sister, Joy (Dave) Sherbeyn of Geneseo; and five grandchildren, Mario, Jake, Abby, Dan, and Ryan.

She also was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls, with the Rev. Dr. Vincent Marrandino officiating. Burial will follow at Coloma Township Cemetery, Rock Falls.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials in her memory to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
