Amber F. McMunn, 32, of Dixon; 4:32 a.m. Sunday; driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle; given notice to appear in court.

Brandon M. Van Ommeren, 4:45 p.m. Sunday; Lee County warrant, contempt/nonpayment.

Chad E. Merrill, 36, of Dixon; 8:30 p.m. Sunday; reckless driving, reckless conduct, disorderly conduct; given notice to appear in court.

Matthew A. Moan, 25, of Amboy; 11:30 p.m. Sunday; cruel treatment of animals; given notice to appear in court.

Boy, 16, of Paw Paw; 11 a.m. Monday; disorderly conduct; released to parent.



Whiteside County Sheriff

Routine traffic stops, 5 p.m. to midnight Friday with Tampico, Lyndon, Prophetstown and Erie police departments; no insurance, 5; no seat belt, 9; driving with a suspended driver’s license, 1; speeding, 3; other traffic violations, 3.



Sterling Police

Ricky L. Jackson, 32, of Sterling; 7:52 p.m. Saturday; Whiteside County warrant, violation of the Sex Offender Registration Act; taken to Whiteside County Jail.

Burglary; Monday in the 1000 block of Fourth Avenue; a riding lawn mower was stolen from a garage. A white male subject between the age of 17-25, approximately 6 feet tall, with short brown hair, wearing tan-colored cargo shorts, entered the garage between the hours of 10:30 and 11 a.m. and rode the green-colored John Deere lawn mower eastbound on 11th Street; anyone with information is asked to call Sterling Police at 815-632-6640; or Crime Stoppers at 815-625-7867.

Eli A. Riley, 42, of Ashton; 1:48 p.m. Saturday at state Route 38 and Meridian Road, Ogle County; driving with a revoked driver’s license, speeding; given notice to appear in court.

Eric L. Ellis, 25, of Rock Falls; 11:50 p.m. Saturday at Fifth Avenue at West Eighth Street, Rock Falls; driving under the influence, possession of cannabis, no rear registration plate light; given notice to appear in court.

Boy, 15, of Rock Falls; 11:50 p.m. Saturday at Fifth Avenue at West Eighth Street, Rock Falls; unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor; released to father; referred to juvenile service.

Calvin R. Locey, 23, of Rock Falls; 12:01 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 39, Ogle County; speeding, driving with a suspended driver’s license, possession of cannabis – less than 2.5 grams.

Valerie L. Young, 24, of Polo; 1:06 a.m. Sunday at state Route 64 and Fourth Street, Oregon; driving under the influence, improper lane usage, improper display of license plates; taken to Ogle County Jail.

Tanner L. Young, 31, of Polo; 1:06 a.m. Sunday at state Route 64 and Fourth Street, Oregon; illegal transportation of alcohol; given notice to appear in court.

Sharon K. Dexter, 52, of Dixon; 11:35 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 88, Whiteside County; driving under the influence, improper lane usage; given notice to appear in court.

Nicholas A. Parker, 30, of Dixon; 4:24 Monday at 519 state Route 2; battery; taken to Lee County Jail.
