Grand Detour       Cemetery Walk

1 p.m. and every 20 minutes until 4 p.m. “Tales from the Tombs” will be hosted by the St. Peter’s Church Preservation Committee and will showcase 10 of Grand Detour Cemetery’s “residents,” in period costumes, coming to life for the afternoon. They will tell some of their life stories and how their stories are connected to the history of the village of Grand Detour and St. Peter’s Church, 8225 S. Main St. The cost for this fundraiser for the St. Peter’s Church Preservation Committee is $5 an adult. The rain date is set for June 7.
