Amboy Police

Christopher M. May, 22, of Amboy; 4:45 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Oil gas station; Whiteside County warrant, failure to appear; taken to Lee County Jail.



Sterling Police

Travis E. Weitzel, 23, of Sterling; 8:02 p.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of First Avenue; Whiteside County warrant, driving with a suspended driver’s license.



Whiteside County Sheriff

Traffic crash; 5:04 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 30 near Chase Road, rural Fulton; two units, one traveling east and one traveling west, collided in the westbound lane of traffic. The crash remains under investigation. Three subjects were transported from the scene by ambulance to Mercy Hospital, Clinton, Iowa. No names have been released.
