Jeffery A. Johnson, 29, of Dixon; 2:15 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of South Hennepin Avenue; driving under the influence, disobeying a stop sign; given notice to appear in court.

Stephanie L. Masterman, 37, of Oregon; 5:45 p.m. May 9 in the 200 block of North Galena Avenue; retail theft under $50; given notice to appear in court.

David L. Manning, 22, of Sterling; 9:49 p.m. Saturday at state Route 2 and Palmyra Road; Dixon Police warrant, contempt/nonpayment, failure to appear; given notice to appear in court.

Kevin S. Strow, 33, of Dixon; 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of South Hennepin Avenue; given notice to appear in court.

Ronald D. Troxell, 41, of Dixon; 7:36 p.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of West Ninth Street; battery; taken to Lee County Jail.

Richard W. Short, 41, of Dixon; 6:30 p.m. Sunday; Carroll County warrant, contempt/ nonpayment; given notice to appear in court.



Amboy Police

Boy, 16; Thursday; criminal damage to property; released to parents.

Boy, 15; 8:50 p.m. Thursday; harassment by phone; released to parents.

Karey L. Ely, 44, of Amboy; 11:46 p.m. Saturday at Mason Avenue and Bacon Street; the result of a traffic crash, failure to yield at a stop intersection, driving under the influence; taken to Lee County Jail; released after posting bond.



Sterling Police

Walter Freeman, 33, of Sterling; 9:05 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Third Avenue; Whiteside County warrant, failure to appear.

Underage drinking party; 10:55 p.m. Friday  in the 1500 block of Avenue D; Jamie R. Rose, 17,  Dawn D. Webb, 17, and Alex M. Rombout, 17, all of Chadwick, and a 16-year-old boy of Milledgeville; unlawful consumption of alcohol as minors, unlawful possession of alcohol by minors; Rose, Webb and Rombout were given notices to appear in court; the 16-year-old was released to his parents.

Cletus L. Knight, 28, of Sterling; 1:55 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Fourth Avenue; Lee County warrant, contempt of court; taken to Lee County Jail.
