Brett J. Rutherford, 21, of Harmon; 1:15 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of West Seventh Street; resisting/obstructing a peace officer, speeding; given notice to appear in court.

Owen M. Jordan, 17, of Dixon; 12:20 a.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Sixth Street; consumption of alcohol as a minor, possession of cannabis, under 2.5 grams; given notice to appear in court.

Patrick M. Linscott, 19, of Dixon; 1 a.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of West Fourth Street; unlawful consumption of alcohol as a minor; given notice to appear in court.

Timothy W. McCauley, 20, of Dixon; 1 a.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of West Fourth Street; unlawful consumption of alcohol as a minor; given notice to appear in court.

John R. Asbury, 42, of Bartlett; 10:40 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of South Galena Avenue; driving under the influence/alcohol, too fast for conditions, Peoria County warrant, failure to appear, driving with a suspended driver’s license; processed and jailed.

Erin J. Beauchamp, 24, of Dixon; 11:55 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of South Dement Avenue; driving with a suspended driver’s license, no insurance; given notice to appear in court.



Lee County Sheriff

Tueron R. Green, 18, of Amboy; 1:45 a.m. Saturday; unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor; given notice to appear in court.

Justin D. Creer, 20, of Amboy; 9 a.m. Sunday; unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor; given notice to appear in court.

Duane M. Zimmerly, 34, of Amboy; 4:30 p.m. Sunday; domestic battery, resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

Michael L. Rauh, 39, of Paw Paw; 7:30 p.m. Sunday; driving under the influence of alcohol, no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle; given notice to appear in court.



Sterling Police

Kayla L. Boyenga, 18, of Dixon; 12:24 a.m. Sunday, Lee County warrant, contempt, nonpayment.



Whiteside Sheriff

Vehicle crash; 12:08 p.m. April 4 at U.S. Route 30 and state Route 78; a motorcycle driven by Joseph H. Porter, 55, of Sterling, was westbound on U.S. Route 30 when a small to mid-size gray/silver passenger car turned left onto U.S. Route 30 from state Route 78. To prevent a collision, Porter elected to drop the motorcycle and slid to a rest on U.S. Route 30. The unknown gray/silver vehicle continued eastbound into Morrison. Porter refused treatment at the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call Whiteside County Sheriff’s Department at 815-772-4044; or Whiteside County Crime Stoppers at 815-625-7867.

William H. Warren, 22, of Prophetstown; 1:20 a.m. April 5 in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue West, Lyndon; failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving under the influence; given notice to appear in court; the accident remains under investigation.

Vehicle crash; 6:37 a.m. Friday on West LeFevre Road, east of McCue Road; Marin R. Williams, 31, of Milledgeville, lost control of her vehicle, traveled off the roadway and crashed into a utility pole; Williams was taken to CGH Medical Center. Aid given by CGH EMS and Sterling Fire Department.

House fire; 1:40 p.m. Thursday at 19633 Lake Road, rural Morrison; owner was burning trash in the back when the wind changed and caught the house on fire, spreading to the garage, a shed, barn, and equipment; aid received from Fulton and Coleta fire departments and Morrison Ambulance.



Dixon Rural Fire

Ambulance call; Thursday at Sauk Valley Community College and on state Route 2, west of the Ford dealership.

Vehicle fire; Thursday in front of 1650 Nachusa Road; minor damage to heavy equipment.

Brush fire; Thursday on state Route 2, north of Sink Hollow Road; approximately 1 acre burned.

False alarm; Thursday at KSB Hospital; auto aid to Dixon City.
